Arts & Craft Newsletter - Campbell Town Tasmania - February 2025

Edition 11 | February 2025

From the editor:

It’s been a very active month with new activities at Harmony on High Street. During the third week of January I hosted seven activities, and we welcomed over 35 x people, including many children for lots of creative fun - from clay play sessions, to soft pastel drawing and some painting sessions with eager local children.

During January, we have enjoyed a new exhibition and energy in our Focus Gallery room with local Campbell Town textile artist; Sherrie Jewson’s Illuminating Lampshades exhibition. It has been the marvel for many of our visitors. We sincerely thank Sherrie for her hard work in bringing her vision to life.

A new exhibition opened yesterday (Friday). This is my very own solo exhibition featuring my online business – Temple of Balance – turning twenty this month! Tomorrow (2nd) please come to Harmony on High Street, from 2pm for a 2.30pm start. There will be an artist talk and a bit of group sound healing which should have you feeling relaxed. If you cannot attend the opening I hope you have some time to experience something of Temple of Balance in the flesh. More details below.

Wishing all parents and children a smooth transition into the new school year. At this stage I will host hourly clay play sessions, and other child-related activities in the school holidays unless a parent expresses interest otherwise.

Please see the calendar of upcoming events and activities at the end of this newsletter. Thanks for viewing and please feel free to share,

Happy creating,

Lee-Anne Peters
