From the editor:
This has been a very busy month as Cory (my husband) and I get the last stages of things together for our new Gallery and Art Hub (in the old Tas Ag building) – Harmony on High Street. Everything is coming together very well and we look forward to opening the doors for our Grand Opening Weekend on Sat 23 & 24 November.
We’ll be open daily from 9am – 5pm, from that Saturday. Please think of us for Christmas gifts, basic art supplies, the empty spot on your wall that needs a unique painting, for gift cards and Christmas cards, jewellery, and for general gifts and arty items. We’ll be giving this our ‘all’ for 2025 and whether we stay longer will be based on customer support.
We’ve had nice and cruisy Art & Craft group gatherings in October as we focused around a BYO activity theme. Many of us felted, created and worked on our own projects while we conversed and connected. Some of us met at Ross and sketched at the park.
We had a lovely lunch at Carol’s Kitchen in October to celebrate these first eight months of meeting regularly. Although there are still meets in November, we’ll be tying up these private gatherings and from Tues 3rd December we will meet at Harmony on High Street. I’ll send out details for this in our next newsletter.
I want to extend out a huge thank you to Sherrie - for sharing the hosting of our Art & Craft Group gatherings, and to all of our members – who all make this group special, supportive and satisfying.
Best wishes,
Lee-Anne Peters

Harmony on High Street - UPDATE
Things have progressed greatly since we finished the long and tedious paint task in September. We spent October transporting all of my artwork and creations to the store. They all needed pricing and sorting. Our art supplies arrived for pricing and shelving. And I mucked around with display ideas and configurations – and finally landed on something I am happy with – although small changes will be made as other artists bring their work in during early November. Our signage is currently going up and our countdown is fast approaching.
