Make your own large stoneware Keepsake Jar to suit your needs and personally decorate with little animals, words or items that are important to you. These would be great: as a personalised urn, for decoration, to store your special treasures and trinkets, or to practically use in your home.
An intensive, yet fun, three days of clay making and decorating. Fully guided and supported. All clay, tools, materials, glazing and kiln firing costs are included.
You will build your Keepsake Jar using the slab and coil building technique. Any additions can be impressed, hand sculpted or added on (Lee-Anne will guide you with this). Add in your lid and add your decoration colours. Lee-Anne will twice fire in the kiln and apply clear glaze for you.
The piece you create will be available for pick up with details given at the Workshop (approx 3 weeks later), and postage is available for interstate and international visitors at the attendee’s expense.
Suitable for all skills levels - including beginners, and advanced potters.
